Who doesn't love Jefferson?

"I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."

In a city full of marble and concrete, chiseled with the words of our forefathers, the Jefferson Memorial held the only phrase that brought a tear to my eye.

As "The Unrepentant Meritocrat" lacks pizzazz, I beg anyone who knows the difference to grant a little poetic license.  An elitist who views universal continuous education as the only hope for the survival of our society, or indeed our planet, is such only in name.

Either way, the willful ignorance of our time has inspired more than a few rants, and these are mine.  The game is rigged, but it's the only game in town.  What they don't tell you is the rules can change...
